Frank Mosley was born in Glasgow, Scotland. He studied at the Glasgow College of Design and thereafter spent nearly 30 years in the UK advertising industry.
An accomplished drummer, he toured with his band alongside some of the great pop groups of the 60s.
He has contributed to advertising text books and has been responsible for numerous award-winning press, radio and TV advertising campaigns.
Previously a 'hobby painter', his career as an exhibiting artist took off in 1995 and his works are regularly on view throughout Scotland and can be found in collections in the UK, France, Ireland, Canada, Portugal and the Netherlands.
With his wife, Julie, he took up permanent residence in South West France in 2002 and works from the studio in their 300 year old, restored Périgordine farm house. Working mainly in acrylics his style is loose and vibrant with an imaginative use of colour.
Paintings can be seen in galleries and at art fairs throughout Scotland and he is also happy to sell direct to clients. Commissions can also be undertaken and enquiries are always welcome.
